Audrey Justine Tautou has been a French actor since the beginning of the 1990s. The role she played as an introverted waitress, Amelie won her many accolades and prizes. Tautou was often compared to Audrey Hepburn, due to her beauty, charismatic acting and talent. Acting did not seem like an ideal career for this pretty brunette born into a lineage with intellectuals. Her father worked as a dentist while mother was a teacher. France born, she appeared in French film for a couple of years prior to her Hollywood debut starring Tom Hanks.
